PB Devotion

Be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
Hebrews 13:5

The Bible calls us to be thankful for and content with everything we have. Our family, health, meals we can share with loved ones, and of course life itself; all are precious gifts from the Lord. But discontent, greed, or fears don’t allow us to fully appreciate and treasure the precious gifts of life.
We don’t know what the future holds. We might have to go through difficult times or worse. But as the children of God we are assured of his continuous love and care. The Lord himself is our helper in every season.

So pray for the Lords help. There is nothing to big or to small.
He wants to help you.

“When you pray, don’t babble on and on as the Gentiles do. They think their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and again. Don’t be like them, for your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him!

Pray like this:

Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us today the food we need, and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭7‬-‭13‬ ‭NLT
